Our job

Every day our customers send through around 1,000 orders. These are increasingly received directly via EDI and the web into our Roadrunner systems, from where warehousing operatives pick and assemble pallets and parcels for despatch from among the 200,000 in our stores. Our vehicles make 500 deliveries per day. All of this - order, pick, packing, despatch and control - is done to 99%+ accuracy.

We offer fully national next day coverage, through our own network of 15 freehold warehouses - and through our membership of the Hazchem Network.

Warehousing isn't the same as storage. It means receipt, repacking, labelling, stock control and despatch - efficiently and safely. We do it all. And it means having the right premises: racked, sprinkled, temperature controlled, specialist (flammable, peroxide, etc). We have them all.

It's a small thing but uniformed drivers give the right image for your company's deliveries. Our long-serving staff (we don't use agency drivers) take pride in their fuel-efficient driving, accident-free records and high levels of customer service.
