SQAS
The Safety and Quality Assessment for Sustainability operated by CEFIC holds us to the highest standards in Safety and Quality. We have some of the best scores in Europe, recognising our commitment to accreditation regimes.
COMAH
The Control of Major Accidents Hazards Regulations 2015 govern the operation of chemical and hazardous warehouses throughout the UK. The regulations implement the European SEVESO Directive and help mitigate the effects of major accidents involving dangerous substances. H.W. Coates was one of the first to meet the standards. Sustainability
Environmental, social and ethical performance is a key element of our sustainability approach. Our sustainability performance and initiatives have been verified by Ecovadis and H.W. Coates has been awarded a Bronze medal. Our scorecard is available to our customers to support their own reporting.
Emergency Response
H.W. Coates is a prime mover behind the Hazchem Emergency Response Scheme which provides a single response system for hazardous goods backed by the National Chemical Emergency Centre. This innovation provides unrivalled peace of mind to our customers.
